STAGE IV SUPPORT VEHICLE
‘Mission Control’ Mobile Command Center
MEDIA & EVENTS
Outside of my road trips, my Tesla Model 3 serves as a ‘workplace’ of sorts - a mobile ‘command center’ for the digital media and media relations operations for nationally-recognized events and not-for-profits. Armed with a trunk full of tripods and camera equipment, a mobile workstation, multiple levels of data connectivity, and enough powerbanks to fuel an army of media personnel, there's nothing that can't be accomplished from the inside of this vehicle.
‘PUSHING PAULIE’
A retired United Airlines flight attendant pushing an airline beverage cart hundreds of miles. ABC News Harrisburg called it “one of the most inspirational stories in all of America.” The route spanned 300 miles from Newark, NJ to Shanksville, PA, but a barrage of social media coverage ensured the journey could be followed by fans across the country and around the world.
From livestreaming on an airport tarmac to coverage at the Points Guy’s ‘Hero in Travel’ Award ceremony, I’ve handled media relations, social media, and website integration for 501(c)3 Paulie’s Push as he pushed his cart along routes representative of the flight paths of all four hijacked 9/11 flights. In 2024 my b-roll video was featured in coverage on networks across the US, including NBC, NewsNation, Fox News Digital, and more.
Over the past four years my 2021 Tesla Model 3 SR+ served as the media support vehicle for the operation.
2021: a 225-mile journey from Boston-Logan International Airport to Ground Zero
2022: Washington-Dulles International airport to the Pentagon
2023: 300 miles from Newark Liberty International Airport to the Flight 93 National Memorial in Stoystown, PA
2024: one more push from Boston to Ground Zero
For thousands of followers, keeping up with the journey on social media was made possible by an endless stream of contents all coordinated from the driver's seat of this car as we crisscrossed through Massachusetts, Connecticut, New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Virginia. My Model 3 became a familiar sight for those waiting alongside roadways hoping to meet Paulie as he passed by with his beverage cart.
An electric vehicle is the perfect vehicle for this purpose for a number of reasons. Chief among them, its ability to keep the climate at a comfortable temperature inside, since each day involved hours of sitting in the summer heat, waiting for the perfect photo or video opportunity. Being able to zip from one point to the next certainly didn't hurt, either. Zoom meetings with airport personnel and national television, interviews have been conducted inside this car.
After four straight years of pushing Paulie, I can't imagine trying to do any of this in any other vehicle.

‘ON THE RUN…’
One of the most unique running events in the US: the 77.7-mile circumference of Seneca Lake - the longest of New York’s Finger Lakes - divided by 7 relay team members. An event so popular it regularly fills to capacity in minutes, and has been spotlighted in Runner’s World Magazine, a mention in Forbes, and many others. I’ve handled social media and media relations for the Seneca7 for more than a decade. My Tesla Model 3 allows me to zoom around the full length of the course with ease as I livestream to event social media, stay in communication with race directors and the media, and capture content at the same time. Keeping a myriad of devices charged? Check! Action shots with cams and gimbals mounted right to the car? Check!
I spent the first years of this event, and other events I’ve worked, working out of a Prius. My Tesla Model 3 has been a game-changer.
